THIS WEEK ON THE GROUND - GROUND GAME

THIS WEEK ON THE GROUND

The only safe community is an organized community.

Across the country, we're facing a growing threat to democracy. In moments like this, it's up to local movements to protect our communities, defend democratic values, and make our voices heard.

A united Los Angeles, where all communities are represented, is better equipped to fend off attacks to our rights.

Starting in 2025, every Friday we're sending out a list of actions and events across the city.

Join us at these actions - non-violent resistence in the form of public protests has been proven time and again to pressure leaders into action, change public opinion, and make real progress towards a fair and just city for everyone.

Featured Event

Ground Game LA's sister organization POWER has two fundraisers next week, and we hope you'll be able to join us. If you can't make it to an event, please make a donation.

We are defending the most successful social housing model America has ever seen: Section 9 public housing. We're uplifting low-income Angelenos to become empowered advocates for the changes they need in their communities. And we can only do this work with you in our corner.
